About Brooke Clarke
Brooke Clarke is an award-winning makeup artist, educator, and creative director with a 12-year career that blends artistry, education, and innovation across the worlds of beauty, fashion, and creative makeup.

Brooke’s journey began in 2013, when she completed a Diploma of Screen and Media Makeup, laying the foundation for a career defined by bold artistry and fearless creativity. After several years of freelancing and refining her skills, she moved to London, where she became a Senior Artist for Kat Von D Beauty. In this role, she conducted masterclasses, trained retail teams across the UK, and helped launch new counters, gaining valuable experience in artistry, leadership, and education — all while having a lot of fun along the way.

While in London, Brooke entered the NYX Face Awards, where her standout creative work quickly caught the attention of the online beauty community. Her growing digital presence led to brand collaborations with global names such as Illamasqua, ColourPop, NYX Cosmetics, Makeup Revolution, and more — solidifying her reputation as a creative force in the beauty world.
After two incredible years abroad, Brooke returned home to Australia, where she went on to win the NYX Face Awards, bringing her artistry to national attention. Soon after, she began taking personal clients while renting a chair inside a local dress hire shop — a humble yet important chapter that led to the launch of her very own makeup studio in 2020.
From there, Brooke’s career evolved into a powerful mix of fashion, editorial, and creative work. She began collaborating on photoshoots, body painting projects, and music videos, building a portfolio known for its innovation and precision. Her passion for creative expression and high-end artistry soon caught the attention of the fashion industry, leading her to work her first Australian Fashion Week in 2024 — an experience that completely ignited her love for runway and editorial work.

Since then, Brooke has worked on eight shows at Australian Fashion Week 2025 and four shows at Melbourne Fashion Week, and most recently, she proudly directed her first makeup team for a large-scale fashion show with a local designer — a milestone moment that marked her evolution from artist to creative leader.

In mid-2024, Brooke opened her new makeup studio in one of Brisbane’s most prestigious suburbs, now home to a team of five talented artists whom she mentors and trains personally. The studio has become a hub for creativity, education, and collaboration — reflecting Brooke’s belief in building up the next generation of artists.

Throughout her career, Brooke has been recognised with multiple industry accolades, including Australian Editorial Makeup Artist of the Year 2024, International SFX Artist 2025, International Body Painter 2025, Avant Garde Artist 2024, and Artist of the Year 2019, as well as over 5 wins in live makeup competitions nation-wide.

With over a decade of experience, Brooke continues to redefine what it means to be a modern makeup artist — blending technical mastery with fearless creativity, and using makeup as a medium for storytelling, self-expression, and artistry that inspires both audiences and artists alike.
